Is it time to be lazy?

You know, I will admit that this time of year it is easy to forget what is needed to maintain a top notch bird dog.  They need some reminders and it is easy in May / June to lay back and not work on what is needed.

Pick out a monthly reminder that you always seem to remember no matter what.  Example, if you never forget your monthly mortgage then just tie in your dog training with that reminder.  Pay mortgage, train dog!  Just don’t forget that dog training is very important.  Better to touch up dog training a little bit each month than not at all! 

Use whatever it takes to remember and get busy!  What you reap in October will be come from what you sowed all summer!
