Dave, sounds like you had a wonderful time with family and Brittany's. That is really what it is all about IMHO.

What I get a kick out of is each Brittany has their own little nuances or personality traits. Like Flash living for the moment or getting into the dirtiest smelliest thing he can find. What fun for a Brittany.

I know I watch our different Brittany's and laugh all the time at the things they do. My rescue Brittany, Hunter, that I got last year is the biggest Goof Ball/Big Boob that I have ever seen. Then when you take them to the field to hunt, it is like Jekyll and Hyde. They turn on the all business mode and think of nothing but birds. WHAT A BREED!!!

Dave, i remember when my brittany'Freckles' did that a few times . and it would stink!! thank goodness for the water trot in the pasture! (lol) Freckles would also go and flush quail for me and proudly go and get one and bring to to my feet.. mind you, Dave I never trained Freckles to hunt..... and my family did hunt. foul and elk, deer and fished too while I was growing up. Alas, dearest Freckles was laid to rest a few years ago due to old age and lived to be 17yrs old.I got him for my 5th birthday from my grandparents and tnhat dog would love me forever and did till the day he was put to sleep..... i was back east with my husband when my grandma called me the day they had him put to sleep........ i cried.
