		<description>Dave, that was a good and very important entry on your part. I thought it worth while to add one thing to your list though. Brushing your dogs teeth regularly appears to be very beneficial to their health. I have discussed this with several Vets over the last few years as well as read a couple of very good articles on the subject. It seems that left unattended bacteria can enter the bloodstream via the area around the teeth/gums and can lead to various problems.

I have been brushing my dogs teeth twice a week for the past 10 years or so with good results(according to the Vets), but if you can&#039;t, at least have them inspected by your Vet and professionally cleaned as often as needed.</description>
