11. Hunting your dog with a poorly trained, or green broke dog, (or any dog that is an unknown quantity) before your dog is seasoned and solid.

 12. Hunting inappropriate game, or in an area teaming with Jack Rabbits, Whitetailed Deer, porcupines, or skunks (need I mention snakes?), before pup is ready/conditioned.

 13. Shooting too close to your dog at flush (usually associated with poor quality caged birds, but can happen with wet wild birds, birds in dense cover, worse when shooting with one eye closed).

 14. Hacking, over using locate beeper, encouraging dog to hunt closer than necessary, for the cover, and just generally not trusting your dog, and his training.

 15. Not hunting often enough.

I have done at least half of these, and a couple on Dave's list, but will endever to rectify this, in the upcoming year, especially number 15.
